Chrysler Models Named 2015 Best Buys

The Consumer Guide® Automotive named their Best Buys for 2015, and among their selections were five different Chrysler models. Four of the five Chrysler models were repeat winners, with the exception of the Chrysler 200. The Chrysler 200 was recognized as a Best Buy in the Midsize segment.

The Ram 1500 first debuted back in 2009, and has been recognized as a Best Buy in the Large Pickup Truck segment each year since. For the third year since 2011, the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan were named Best Buys in the Minivan segment. The Dodge Durango collected the honor of a Best Buy in the Large SUV segment for the third consecutive year.

"We congratulate Chrysler Group for holding a leadership position in the minivan, large SUV, and large pickup categories despite improved competition," Tom Appel, Publisher of Consumer Guide Automotive, said. "We're especially delighted to see Chrysler make its mark in the fiercely competitive midsize-car arena."

More than 150 new cars, trucks and SUVs sold in the United States were evaluated by the editors of Consumer Guide® Automotive as part of the process for determining the winners of each segment. The fact that Chrysler was able to place five different models among the winners is a testament to the brand's efforts to deliver excellence in the design, performance and safety of their vehicles.

Extensive testing is required as part of the evaluation process, but other factors are considered before the top vehicles in each segment are selected. In order to be a Consumer Guide® Automotive Best Buy, the editors look for vehicles that distinguish themselves as an excellent value, especially when compared to the other vehicles in their respective classes.

Consumer Guide® Automotive is an automotive publication that analyzes, compares and evaluates major vehicle models available in the United States.
